Some classmates and I are going to be presenting to a group of people regarding Diabetes nutrition. Our audience is going to primarily be Latino, and we’re planning on bringing in some examples of healthy snacks to serve. Can you give me some ideas?

We’re already going to bring in baked tortilla chips with salsa.

I have a friend who’s in the hospital. He’s physically and mentally not capable of communicating. I have the keys to his apartment and his belongings in the hospital bag, but there is a latch that can only applied from the inside, that has freakishly fallen on. The leasing office says this happen sometimes but will not assist me to enter with the help of their maintenance. Reason, because I’m not on the lease. I informed them that he is in and out of conciousness. He’s suffering from complications from diabetes. I need access though to find out who his employer is because he works from home online. This info along with other important things are in is home. I also need to pay his rent with his account but don’t know how to go about that. How can I legally get the property to assist me in his apartment and pay his rent with his account?Any suggestions would be helpful.

bags can be extremely annoying, as can fitting everything into pockets. there may be no way around this. I can’t see one. its especially akward in clubs when you have to keep a small bag on when you don’t want to look stupid, and/or you want to dance etc.

I was just diagnosed with severe hypoglycemia and put on a strict diet. The paperwork is a little unclear. What snacks can I eat between meals or on the road? I am use to a heavy sugar diet.

I have decided that I need to loose weight as I feel I have become insulin insensitive.I have also decided I will be doing this slowly and healthily.I understand there is a relationship between large amounts of insulin and weight gain.So if I reduce my carbs and therfore my insulin and do exercise to furher reduce my insulin needs will I loose weight?Also if I was having a snack what is better an apple or lean protien as the apple would require more insulin….will I have to reduce my fruit intake to loose weight?Im sorry about all the questions I am just so confused.Perhaps everything I am saying is wrong!xxx

At this point I have major insurance by the county but it only last 6 months. I was diagnosed with Diabetes while on this insurance. To my knowledge, insurances companies have to cover you if you have previous insurance???? How would the preexisting condition affect this?

P.S. I am taking medication for the Diabetes 2.
