I had to follow the diabetics diet and take insulin. She was only 6lbs7oz. If you follow the rules the baby won't be huge. If you cheat the baby will be big plus you jeopardize both your health and the baby's. Once you give birth, it goes away. Good luck I had it with my second. I was able to control it with diet. I had a planned c-section one week before due date. Baby weighed 7lbs, 7oz. I wouldn't worry too much about baby getting too big as long as you are watching your levels. I was induced with my first with pitossin and it caused harder contractions early.
